4107 – Bat animation drawing. An original hand drawn Anime production drawing, here a douga (doga), from the Fist of the North star (Hokuto no ken, 北斗の拳) Japanese anime television series, based on the manga by Tetsuo Hara (原 哲夫) and Buronson. Made by a Japanese animator working at Toei Animation, using graphite pencils and color pencils on animation paper. Slight handling wear from production. The douga is an original animation production drawing. All animation art and production drawings (layout, douga, genga, cel) sold by Galerie de la Bande Dessinee are safely sealed in archival bags with acid-free backing boards to keep the production art protected. Original production drawings are very desirable, because it is at this stage that the animators really brought the characters to life.
