3407 – Sailor Moon – Episode 112 – Chibiusa (Sailor Chibi Moon) animation drawing. An original hand drawn production drawing, here a genga correction sheet, from the Sailor Moon anime television series, produced by Toei Animation. Based on the Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon (美少女戦士セーラームーン, Bishōjo Senshi Sērā Mūn) manga, written and illustrated by mangaka Mangaka Naoko Takeuchi (武内直子), from 1991 to 1997. Made by a Japanese animator working at Toei Animation, using graphite pencils and color pencils on animation paper. Slight handling wear from production. All animation art and production drawings (layout, douga, genga, cel) sold by Galerie de la Bande Dessinee are safely sealed in archival bags with acid-free backing boards to keep the production art protected. Original production drawings are very desirable, because it is at this stage that the animators really brought the characters to life.
