3309 – Dr Moustache animation drawing. An original hand drawn production drawing, here a genga, from Jungle Emperor Leo (劇場版ジャングル大帝, Gekijōban Janguru Taitei) anime movie, produced by Tezuka Productions, and based on the Jungle emperor (Janguru Taitei, ジャングル大帝) manga created by mangaka Osamu Tezuka ((手塚治虫), and published in Japan between 1950 and 1954. Made with graphite pencil and color pencils on animation paper. Slight handling wear from production. Genga is the first original animation drawing representing the key poses of an animated sequence. All animation art and production drawings (layout, douga, genga, cel) sold by Galerie de la Bande Dessinee are safely sealed in archival bags with acid-free backing boards to keep the production art protected.
