An original hand painted anime production cel from the Dragon Ball (ドラゴンボール, Doragon Bōru) anime television series, produced by Toei Animation, based on the Dragon Ball manga by mangaka Akira Toriyama (鳥山 明). Slight handling wear from production. Original production cel, Anime Cel, or celluloid, is a transparent plastic sheet composed of cellulose acetate. In the same format as the douga, the celluloid is painted by hand. Each anime production drawing (layout, douga, genga, cel) sold by Galerie de la Bande Dessinee is safely sealed in archival bags with acid-free backing boards to keep the production drawing protected. Original anime production cels are a spectacular addition to any art collection, and a great way to enjoy the artistry behind your favorite Anime and animated series.

Each original anime production drawing that we sell, was drawn during the production of the anime, by one of the animators working for the Japanese studio responsible for producing the anime.

Each purchase of an original anime production drawing comes with a detailed invoice, issued by Galerie de la Bande Dessinée. This invoice includes the visual of the original anime production drawing, as well as its description, thus certifying the authenticity of each original anime production drawing available for sale at our art gallery.
